Our purpose is to provide our customers with a true alternative to the main dealer, along with a customer service focus to relieve the anxiety of taking your car to a garage. We want VRT to be industry-leading in our sector and the first name mentioned in Berkshire when recommending a trustworthy and competent garage for a Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Cupra, or Skoda.
We will achieve this by using genuine parts, repair procedures, tooling and transparent reporting processes to our customers with detailed written reports, video reporting of their vehicles and the work required, along with continued personal development of our team here at VRT.
Director - CAE AMIMI
John started VRT in 2010 after a very successful career with a Volkswagen main dealer for over 10 years. During this time he attended a vast number of training courses in order to develop his skills whilst also becoming a specialist in luxury models such as the Touareg and Phaeton. He can now be found overseeing the daily running of the workshop to ensure everything goes to plan!
Technician
Ryan started VRT with John in 2010 and has a wealth of Volkswagen Audi Group experience. His speciality is the performance tuning side of VRT and has a true passion for making cars faster and more capable from performance remaps to brake upgrades. Ryan enjoys the satisfaction of successfully repairing cars and is one of our Level 3 electric vehicle technicians so he can continue to do so long into the future.
Service Manager - AMIMI
Christina joined the team in 2012 after a very successful customer service spell at a local racecourse. With previous experience in the motor trade and the Volkswagen product, Christina was a huge coup for VRT with a fresh perspective and is still always bringing new ideas and innovative processes, which has led to her earning the role of Service Manager.
After 10 years here there isn’t anything that Christina doesn’t know about VRT and she has the skills and knowledge to make your visit a great experience.
Service Advisor
Jodie joined the team in 2024 as a dedicated service advisor. With a host of experience in hospitality roles that then led to 3 years in the motor trade we couldn’t wait to add Jodie to the team when the opportunity arose

Service administrator
Coral joined the team in 2023 as a service administrator. After 6 years of hairdressing, Coral was looking for a new challenge and has settled in perfectly. With a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service, Coral is on hand to take your calls, get you booked in and make sure your paperwork is completed including online service history updates.
Technician - AMIMI
Morten joined the team in 2019 after building a wealth of product knowledge from successfully completing his apprenticeship with Audi and then becoming a certified service technician with Volkswagen. Morten is always eager to learn and has become a Level 3 qualified electric vehicle technician since joining VRT. Morten is a true fault finder with an exceptional understanding of ODIS and Erwin which means you are always in safe hands!
Technician
Andy joined the team in 2022 from another local Volkswagen Audi group specialist. With 6 years of VW experience, he has great product knowledge and is always keen to tackle those challenging jobs. With a methodical approach to his work and excellent use of the workshop systems, Andy can always be found involved in the jobs that are the most challenging. Since joining us, Andy has brushed up on his electrical understanding and will be our next electric vehicle technician in the very near future.
Apprentice technician
Emily joined the team in 2023 as an apprentice technician. Joining straight from school, Emily is now in the second year of her apprenticeship. Working alongside her mentor Morten, she is building up her knowledge and skills every day and is always keen to be involved!
Lunch time quality control officer
Rubble joined the team in 2016 and was followed by Rafferty in 2021. They can both be regularly found overseeing the everyday running of the business from the comfort of their office whilst enjoying the odd treat or two. They are both very enthusiastic when it comes to customer service and will always provide a warm ‘waggy tail’ welcome.
Meet & Greet executive
Rafferty joined as Rubble’s right-paw-dog in 2021 and was instantly part of the team. Whenever a smile might be needed, Rafferty will be there to supply.
