Wheels can be knocked out of alignment by something as simple as banging into the kerb and once they’re out of alignment, that can lead to premature wear of the tyres and can cause problems with the handling of the vehicle.

If you notice that your car’s tyres have worn on the inside or the outside edges of the tyres, this suggests that your wheels need to be aligned.

You may notice other signs such as:

• The car pulling to the side
• The steering wheel doesn’t straighten up when you’re driving straight
• A squealing sound from the tyres
